The deets: J.Crew chambray & skirt; Madewell heels (similar, similar under $40); ASOS sunnies; Balenciaga bag; Michael Kors watch; Lancome "Wannabe" lipstick.
You know the awesome thing about having friends who also have great taste? You get to inherit the stuff they decide they don't feel like returning, like these sunnies. It's always a great day when a new pair comes into your life out of the blue and free of charge. Thanks, Katie! Also this is what I wore to a work happy hour last week and dark washed chambray is my new jam because it goes with EVERYTHING!
The deets: Missguided dress; Schutz heels (similar); BaubleBar necklace; Marc by Marc Jacobs earrings; Clare V. clutch.
A little late but this is the little GNO outfit I wore when my sister was here visiting a couple of weekends ago. We hit a couple of my favorite local bars that are dependable live music spots. I don't think I will ever get sick of getting all dressed up for a girls night. I actually like it more than prepping to go out for a date night (as my boyfriend likes me best with no makeup at all which kinda takes the fun out of it). I definitely dress up for other ladies, wink. Also this has always been my most favorite color to wear so I can't help but buy anything that comes in it!
The deets: BB Dakota dress; 3.1 Phillip Lim bag; Anthropologie earrings (old); Converse sneakers; South Moon Under sunnies (old).
Sometimes all I can muster in the way of getting dressed is throwing on one soft and cozy thing, throwing my hair in a pony, slipping on sneakers, and calling it a day. I am thankful that I grabbed this little shirt dress on sale at South Moon Under because it comes in super handy when I am feeling lazy.
Above are just a handful of my favorite 'grams of late (can you tell how into flowers I am this time of year?) and I would love for you to follow along for a little behind the blog glimpse into my life here! Believe me, not all of the scenes are this glamorous. Like this unfortunate hair fluff incident or this snap of me doing my own hair touch-ups. I try to keep it real, although I can't promise you there wont be any cliches up there, I mean a girl has to document her colorful meals and nail polish selections somehow, right?

As I get older I get increasingly paranoid of the sun hitting my face. I used to be that girl that had an unlimited monthly package to a local tanning salon and refused sunblock just for the chance to get a couple shades closer to bronze. I was pretty dumb. Now that I understand how fair skin like mine basically needs SPF 85 all the time, I like to get all the extra protection I can get, this hat and sunnies combo makes a great sun blocker team for those gorgeous days where I know I will be spending a big chunk of the day parked outside.
I recently bought a basket of locally grown peaches and had a few left that were starting to look less than fresh but I still didn't want them to go to waste. I decided making tiny pies out of them would be a fun solution! So easy, I promise. Directions below.
Ingredients
1 Package ready made pie crust dough
3 Peaches
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons blueberry preserves (good quality)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut eight circles from your ready made pie crust with a tumbler glass (find mine here), place in cupcake pan, and bake for 9 minutes. Take out and let cool while you do the rest but don't shut off the oven.
2. Slice up your peaches and cook them in a saucepan on medium heat in the butter, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and blueberry preserves until everything is good and tender/reduced (about ten minutes).
3. Put your pie filling in each little pie cup and cover with lattice dough top (I used a pizza cutter to make the tiny strips).
4. Bake for 9 more minutes or until top is slightly browned.
The deets: J.Crew dress (old, similar); Schutz heels (exact); Zero UV sunnies; Clare V. clutch (now 25% off with code SPRING25); F21 faux leather jacket; Knox Thomas Designs bracelet.
This is the outfit I wore to church and then Easter dinner last Sunday at my boyfriends parents. If you can't break out your neon lace dress on Easter, when can you? The weather was simply gorgeous and it felt nice to shine back at the sun. It also gave me the perfect reason to bust out these babies which I have been waiting a month to wear so wins all around!

..The Loeffler Randall Scalloped Amelia Heel
April 3, 2015 • currently coveting Fashion Loeffler Randall
I have been STALKING these Loeffler Randall beauties for a while because the way they are a simple two strap heel that also has just a tiny bit of uniqueness thrown in with the scalloped edge just spoke to me. I finally pulled the trigger on the gold pair (during a 30% off sale) and can't wait to wear them with all my summer dresses! I do have five weddings on the calendar so a little splurge seems justified, wink.
The deets: F21 top (other floral tees); GAP jeans; ALDO heels (very similar); Claire's sunnies; 3.1 Phillip Lim bag;
I wore this outfit last weekend to go bridesmaid dress shopping followed by drinks and dinner. I told you guys I was on a roll when I found some great goodies at Forever 21, this tee was calling my name! It seems to be sold out online but there are TONS of floral tee options out there right now as spring is on everyone's mind.
