The deets: Piperlime dress (similar, other floral dresses); Shoedazzle heels (identical); Zara clutch; Madewell sunnies; Essie "Playdate" nail polish.
It has actually been quite a while since I have attended a wedding I wasn't part of so dressing for the occasion is usually already taken care of. It was fun to pick a floral breezy dress for an outer banks wedding we went to a couple weekends ago. The location was gorgeous, the weather was lovely, and my boyfriend had his first groomsmen experience. Also, there was mini-golf, which is embarrassingly one of my best "sports," so that was awesome.
The deets: J.Crew tank, shorts, (similar linen shorts) and hat; Zara heels (also love these Stuart Weitzman ones) Balenciaga bag; Ray-Ban sunnies.
I don't know what it is about shorts with heels, but I love the look and feel ultra chic whenever I try it out. It was THE most gorgeous memorial day weekend and I had a great time meeting up with childhood friends, trying out a new restaurant, & getting my BBQ on with my boyfriends family. It is going to be a good summer season if this kickoff weekend is the indictor.
Pool season has officially started as of this weekend and I recently booked a few trips that require a new swimsuit. As a girl with a larger bust I almost exclusively wear suits that have bustier bikini tops (like these options) so I can ensure everything stays right where it should. I also love this Mara one, this ASOS one, and this one, and this one both by Zinke. Cheers to the start of a great bikini season!
I know, I know. These are HUGE creepy photos of my eyeballs. It's weird, but the best way to show you the difference. The first photo is of a few applications of my day to day mascara go-to Clinique High Impact Curling in black. The second is just a teeny tiny bit of mascara on curled lashes (basically none) and a few well placed individual false lashes (not strips). It's not intensely different or a crazy super glam effect since there isn't any mascara on the falsies but it is a nice softer, fluffier, more whimsical option. Give it a try! These are my favorite individuals to use (and the ones I used here).
Bonus tip: when putting the glue on the individuals (black or clear glue) just put a dab on the back of your hand, let it sit for a minute and then using a tweezer, dip it and stick it!
..Black and White Wedges
May 14, 2015 • Badgley Mischka black and white currently coveting Fashion Jack Rogers Kate Spade style Tory Burch Vince Camuto wedges
Who's ready for wedge season? Me! I have been scouring the internet (because who really goes IRL shopping these days?) for the perfect pair and have found so many cute black and white wedge options (also here here and here). I honestly have a lot of trouble finding a good wedge because I am very particular about the heel height & shape. There are hundreds of different pairs out there but I usually thumbs down 99%. These have passed the test. I realize some of them are pricier but you really only need one pair per summer if you go neutral and wedges literally go with every warm weather option so I think of it as an investment piece, like purchasing a good quality bag.
The deets: LOFT dress (similar, other polka-dot items); J.Crew cardi (similar); Zara heels (other black ankle strap heels); Elizabeth and James sunnies; Rebecca Minkoff mini bag; Kate Spade earrings.
The other day I met up with a few blogger friends for trivia and Alicia was wearing the cutest dress. After about five minutes I realized I actually owned it already and just forgot it was in there (#youknowyouhaveashoppingproblemwhen). She inspired me to bust it out again in all its retro glory.
The deets: Kersh skirt; J.Crew chambray & earrings (can still get them here); ALDO heels (similar); Ray-Ban sunnies; Rebecca Minkoff bag; Michael Kors watch.
I can't stop buying floral printed things. Tees, skirts, dresses, you name it. If it's a floral print I want it. I also went through a stripes phase, and a red and black phase, so I am sure in a year when this trend bids us adieu I will be looking into my closet like, WHY? What can I say, when I fall for something I fall hard. This is one of the more fun looks I wore to the office recently.

They aren't margaritas for Cinco de Mayo but they are tropical and pretty enough to get me thinking about a vacation to somewhere where I can sit back and drink one (or three). I have travel on the brain and have been crushing on these Star Mela bags as I imagine myself strolling along the beach toting one. The pom poms and neon colors just speak to me.
..Luxe Look for Less: Anthropologie Dresses
May 1, 2015 • Fashion Floreat Forever 21 Love 21 Luxe Look for Less Mara Hoffman style Sundry
Who knew Forever 21 could rival the chic style selections from Anthropologie? Whilst perusing both sites I kept coming across vaguely familiar prints and shapes and just had to share my findings. I mean, these models seem to even be rocking the same hairstyles! Cray.
