..30 for 30 Challenge

So I have finally decided that March is going to be the month I attempt the 30x30 remix challenge.  For those of you who aren't Kendi readers that means picking 30 items from your closet, and making 30 outfits with them (including shoes peeps).  Recently she's all about taking as much time as you need to do this and not piling on any other rules, but I think those rules are for the weak, so I am going with the OG (original gangsta') of 30x30 remix challenges and piling on all the rule fixin's.  This just means getting it done in 30 days (one month) and no shopping is allowed for the duration of said month.  I have loads of weddings/showers/parties...aka expenses coming up and I need to get a handle on my shopping addiction (I probably should have been checked in when I spent 50 dollars on nail polish people...none of you called me out on that..but I forgive you).  Wish me luck! Wait, hold on..I think I can actually hear my boyfriend rejoicing with glee somewhere out there as I type these words...weird. Anyway..I wont do full posts for every single outfit but I will be sure to post a recap at the end of my journey detailing the proof.  I've got my 30 items all ready to go and this totally seems like it's going to be a breeze (hopefully I am not eating those words in a few weeks).


***Important side-note: I have also chosen to give up chocolate this month as part of my new years resolutions so if I seem a bit...psycho-whack-attack-esque that is probably why.  If I really stop making sense on here, someone send a rescue team for Mike as something terrible might have happened to him in a chocolate/shopping withdrawal induced rage. Let's hope my will power has been hitting the gym and drinking protein shakes because I just saw a 30% off email from J.Crew factory and I am not happy about it.
