I grew up in the 90's. Back then it was pretty awesome to match your entire outfit. My acid washed jean skirt with floral ruffle detailing on the bottom would likely come with a matching floral vest and over-sized matching floral print bow to plop on the top of my head to boot. I would obviously then go find a pair of matching Keds to complete the look...and that was the coolest.
Confession: sometimes's really hard for me to not match my clothes like I'm back in 1995 again.
This is a gorgeous outfit. What's not to love... mint, sequins and pretty accessories! Love it hun!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am all about coordination. I wish coordinating everything would come back in to fashion properly! :)

hahaa..I know what you mean. I try not to be so matchy matchy too, but when it works it works. And this outfit is super cute!!

I'm pretty sure I owned that same outfit! I was REALLY in to "Blossom" hats. This outfit is beautiful. I love the mint and I think that the matching elements are a good thing. Sometimes I see stuff and I'm like,"Huh, that doesn't match at all or even go together. Are we getting dressed in the dark." Guess I'm just old school that way!
ReplyDeleteperfect dressed. until last detail!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the little diversion from the typical neon and neutral combo... pastel and neutral is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean by matching your clothes my mom used to match everything she put me in back then and I grew up with that habit. I love this look the mint is really soft and goes really nice with the top, no match matchy ness required :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous my dear! I love how the skirt moves... so graceful!

I gotta match...at least, the colors have to flow together in some kind of fashion. Not sure I could do the whole different patterns against different patterns. Although, I have seen some that worked...
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit that you have on in this post though...love the colors. They flow :)
Love this outfit. That shirt is so pretty!!!
