..DIY Arm Polish Party

August 6, 2012

DSC_2983

I have been seeing nail-polish jewelry everywhere and being that I have a pretty extensive Essie collection myself, I wanted to give it a try.  I walked to the Claire's accessories store in the mall across the street and got all the loot you see below (minus the earrings, I scored those in the reject pile at Fornash) for ten dollars!  Not only was this the easiest DIY ever, it was pretty darn cheap! All you need are some rhinestone pieces that you don't care about ruining and some polish.  See some of my creations below.

Currently Coveting is also on TwitterFacebookInstagramBloglovin, and Pinterest.

  20. Wow, those look amazing! Now, this is going to sound like a silly question but... I can barely stay in the lines while painting my nails, so is there a trick for not getting nail polish on the outer parts?

  25. i LOVE this!! I painted a ring once--it turned out okay but I used too many coats! Did you just use 1 coat and how did you not get it on the metal pieces? I may be heading to Clare's very very soon after seeing this!!
