The deets: J.Crew pencil and chambray; sunnies c/o Firmoo; Steve Madden wedges (now on super sale!); vintage necklace; South Moon Under earrings; Piperlime clutch; Michael Kors watch; Lancome "Midnight Rose" lipstick.
I have amassed a pretty extensive collection of pencils skirts in the five years that I have been in the workforce. They are brightly colored, printed, and striped. They are not, however, very useful outside of the M-F workday, so after seeing J.Crew (me favs!) put out an absolutely fabulous e-mail ad about wearing them on the weekend, I decided to give it a shot. It actually didn't feel as work-y as I thought! I ran my errands on my day off in perfectly normal pencil skirt style. What do you guys think? Should we let our work clothes out on weekends or no? I say yes as it helps to justify my future purchases (wink wink).

I think sometimes I don't want to wear "work" clothes on the weekend just because I associate certain pieces of clothing (like pencil skirts) with work, and who wants to think about work on the weekend?! But you're right...getting multiple uses out of your clothes is a good justification for buying :)
