Just wanted to pop in to wish you a very merry Christmas and happy holiday season from my little fur family to yours!
The deets: Banana Republic button down; GAP vest (fur hood version, very similar); Ray-Ban sunnies (stolen from the fiance); AG jeans; J.Crew boots (old, similar); Balenciaga tote; Revlon "Certainly Red" lipstick; Knox Thomas Designs bracelets.
The deets: Madewell sequin skirt; Zara heels; Express turtleneck; Karen Walker sunnies.
So green, red, and gold sequins was a good idea for a Christmas party I went to in theory, but looking back on it, definitely not my best look. The issue is that I already wore it so I'm still putting it up on the blog to showcase that sometimes you have a major miss and don't realize it until it's TOO LATE. The lesson learned here is that throwing every holiday color you have together is NOT an equation for holiday cuteness. I hope we can all look back on this an laugh one day. Woof.
The deets: T&J Designs top; J.Crew skirt & heels ( similar, similar); Chloe & Isabel earrings; Monserat De Lucca clutch; Knox Thomas Designs bracelets; Revlon "Certainly Red" lipstick.
When I saw this top available online I knew it was what I wanted to wear when asking my bridesmaids to be in my wedding (see the way I did it here). I threw a little party for them at my apartment and couldn't think of a more appropriate time to keep the bubbly flowing. I wanted to add a little color (I'm definitely not your all black & white ensemble kinda girl) so I brought out my blue satin shoes for an additional "pop." See what I did there?
The deets: Not So Idle Hands craft boxes; Heartwood Paperie cards; Knox Thomas Designs bracelets; Evelina Apparel sleep masks; Bath & Bodywork's Mahogany & Teakwood mini candles; DIY mugs.
This post is very special to me because it's the first post about my own personal wedding adventure! First stop, asking my wonderful and gorgeous wolfpack of awesome ladies to be my maids. I know what a commitment it can be to be a bridesmaid, so I wanted to do something for them that showed how much I love and appreciate them agreeing to be part of my big day. The vibe I was going for with my ask gifts was meant to be fun, relaxing, and a little indulgent so I stuffed them with my favorite scented candle, a silky handmade sleep-mask, a personalized mug (I got super crafty and made these myself with a ceramic mug & oil based pen - bake in oven for 30 minutes on 350 degrees to set), some tea for the mug, a few yummy chocolates, and a hand-stamped bracelet that says "BESTIE" in Morse code. I then invited them all (or as many as could make it locally) over for a girls night in with some champagne cocktails, dinner, sweets, laughs, and gifts! It turned out to be a nice way to kick off the holiday season.
The deets (in my bathroom): Baublebar x Vaseline Bejeweled Lip Therapy; Kate Spade Walk on Air perfume; Monogrammed Mrs. Box; Voluspa "Mokara" candle; Lavender & Lemons robe.
The deets (holiday gift idea): Baublebar x Vaseline Bejeweled Lip Therapy; Kate Spade "Live Colorfully" perfume rollerball; Illume "Balsam & Cedar" candle; Chanel "Ballerina" nail polish; J.Crew factory earrings.
I have been a long time lover of Vaseline, a habit I learned from my grandmother at an early age. Can't get the lipstick color off your lips? Rub Vaseline on it. Have a small cut that stings? Put Vaseline on it. Have chapped lips or dry hands from the winter months? Swipe some Vaseline on them. Honestly I even rub it under my eyes before I go to sleep because I tend to get super dry under there year round. Basically it's a magical cure all and everyone should worship it. The only thing that is a little bit of a bummer is that the packaging isn't always the cutest, and for a gal that is a total sucker for cute packaging, Baublebar just swooped in and made my stocking stuffer holiday dreams come true. Vaseline and Baublebar came together to crate this adorable blinged out limited-edition bejeweled Vaseline lip therapy jar featuring gorgeous iridescent, fine European crystals. How cute is it? And to make things even better it comes in a swanky gold box that screams "I'm the perfect secret Santa gift!"
I keep mine on my bathroom shelf with all my important trinkets because it's cute enough to be displayed and well, I use it so often there is no point in putting it away. I use it nightly to lock in moisture for beautiful, healthy lips.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Vaseline. The opinions and text are all mine.
The deets: ASOS oversized scarf; Dogeared bag; Baublebar earrings; Knox Thomas Designs personalized Morse code bracelet; Ban.do mobile charger & rose gold hair band; J.Crew Factory faux fur pom hat (similar); Forever 21 mittens; Rebecca Minkoff clutch; Samantha Wills iphone case; Evelina Apparel luxury sleep mask.
Can you believe the cuteness of all this stuff is actually mostly under $40? I would be happy to get a visit from Santa if he came with anything above in tote. I may or may not have already purchased the majority of these items as gifts (which you may see again in another post coming soon). Are you sick of gift guides yet? Do you want MORE? If you do then I'm sure you aren't human, but be sure to check out my home and beauty ones posted last month.
