One of the days we didn't have any excursions planned on our honeymoon we took the shuttle from our resort to another nearby beach, Juanillo Beach. I literally felt like I was stuck (in a good way) inside of a screen saver. Everything was so beautiful it was not quite sinking in that it was real. The best part of this beach, unlike the ones I am used to on the east cost, there was music playing from hidden speakers at just the right decibel to be fun  for cocktailing but also fall asleep to, which I totally did in one of the dreamy cabana loungers - dare I say, best. nap. of. my. LIFE! Could that also be because I was one mojito plus one pina-colada deep? Sure. And about those drinks, they were no joke. I mean fresh as you know what, minty, coconut-y, goodness. This place was enough to make me question every life decision I had made that lead me to not living in a tropical paradise. The waters were very calm and shallow so you could really couldn't body surf or anything and there were a lot of rocks and coral in some parts of the shoreline but aside from those two little things, it was heavenly and we were so happy that we decided to venture out!
