Happy 4th of July, America! Last year at this time I was sporting my red, white, and blue at a BBQ where I made these cupcakes and then watched the beautiful display of DC fireworks on my rooftop. A lot has changed since then, I recently moved and don't have the amazing view I once did, but I do know one thing that will stay constant. I will still be surrounded by good friends, the BEST friends, and that's all I can really ask for. That and a fabulous red white or blue dress to sport (obviously).
How stinking adorable are these Jonathan Adler key-chains? Obsessed. That little elephant just screams "Hey, you!shop I'm sooooo happy to be hanging out with your magical home unlock-er, we're besties!" My house keys now have cute little friends to chill with.

I have had FOUR perfect summer Saturday's in a row. June, you have been so good to me. The first was a friends b-day spent at vineyards then karaoke, the next was my birthday which also ended in karaoke, after that was a beach weekend in Dewey with my favorites, and this last one my cousin was visiting from NJ and my good friends had a housewarming BBQ complete with the best smoked pork I've ever eaten and lotsa dranks. I should also note that it (no surprise) ended with a drunken karaoke session...I'm beginning to see a pattern. Someone please intervene here.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes chocolate cupcakes with a baby carriage. The carriage isn't edible or anything, but I had to share because I really dig them. I don't know what they are really supposed to be used for in reality, I just picked them up at my local party store, but they made perfect little toppers to the cream cheese icing and rainbow flower sprinkles for my coworkers baby shower. GIRLS RULE!
