1. This @brosbeingbasic instagram account of men poking fun at typical girl grams is hilarious and spot on!
2. I went and purchased the Kylie Jenner staples - MAC lip liner in "Soar" and lipstick in "Brave" and seriously they made my lips look way bigger!
3. I am in love with these black lace up flats, but the price tag is a leeeettle to high so I may have to settle for these.
4. I am a sucker for all things cake batter so when I saw this full on cake batter PIE I was all like.. Yes, PLEASE.

My fiancé turned 30 today (who is a twin so his brother also turned 30). It is so crazy how the time flies, I wear it wasn't that long ago we were meeting up at college rangers and borrowing money from our parents to go on real off campus dates for occasions like this. We went to a nice dinner with the family to 1789 and this is the outfit I went with because it's sort of fancy but has enough room for dessert if ya know what I mean.
..Suede Skirts for Any Budget
September 25, 2015 • currently coveting Dorothy Perkins Fashion HM Miss Selfridge style Topshop W118 by Walter Baker
The deets: Under $50: H&M | Dorothy Perkins $50-100: Miss Selfridge | Sanctuary $100-200: Top Shop | Walter Baker
I really am digging the 70's revival thing currently happening EVERYWHERE and especially love all the suede skirts currently available. I have picked out a handful of cute ones for any budget. I scooped a pinkier one up at F21 (seen here) but really want a brownish, camel colored one too!
The deets: ON dress; J.Crew jacket; Schutz heels (similar, similar); Clare V. clutch; Kate Spade earrings & cat bracelet; Knox Thomas Designs gold bracelets; Karen Walker sunnies.
You guys. This dress was ELEVEN dollars when I bought it with the discount code. Yes, the dress that miss fancy pants Gal Meets Glam wore herself. Need I say more? I got it in two prints because, eleven dollars. Also, t-shirt dresses are the bomb because they feel like you are wearing your PJs around town passing them off as real clothes. It's THE BEST.
The deets: ElevenParis dress; ON jacket; Ray-Ban sunnies; Sam Edelman heels; Balenciaga bag; Bauble Bar necklace; Knox Thomas Designs bangles.
I wore this outfit to the Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show last weekend. I loved seeing all the fun makeup that will be in for fall and bold lips were definitely a consistent factor so I decided to go super red for the event.
I purchased this dress like six weeks ago in anticipation for cooler weather. It just seemed like the perfect basic dress for layering jackets and vests over. After finally getting to wear it I can say it's also super cozy and soft to the touch. I definitely see some faux fur over it in the coming weeks!
..The Cutest "Getting Ready" Bridal Party Outfits: Plum Pretty Sugar
September 15, 2015 • friendship Love
The deets: Cute PJ "shortie" sets from Plum Pretty Sugar.
I can't tell you how much I LOVE the idea of getting glammed up in my PJs. It's how I roll at home and even better when I get to wear cute matching sets with my besties while getting ready for a wedding. Plum Pretty Sugar #nailedit on all their adorable cozy selections. I love these shortie sets we got as gifts (we all are in light blue and the bride is in white - adorbs) and also have been scoping out the sweet rompers and robes as a newly engaged person for my own situation one day. FIVE STARS, I say! Add some champs and a little wedding themed spotify playlist and you've got magic.
1. I know Summer is technically ending but how yummy does this spicy fruit salad look?
2. I just finished Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. I have been a big fan of his since Parks and Rec
aired and although I am not single, I found his insights on dating and love in the text-centric, swipe left, social media age to be super informative, interesting, and really funny.
3. How stinking cute is this hilarious couple's take on how they met in a "drunk history" parody?!
4. The Disney child in me is in love with the idea of these princess lipsticks based on my favorite leading ladies growing up.
The deets: J.Crew tank; F21 skirt; Ray-Ban sunnies (prescription); Balenziaga bag; Madewell heels similar); Knox Thomas Designs bracelet and necklace; Kate Spade earrings.
In case you were wondering, this is my "air dried like this" hair, sometimes you just have to take a hair-cation. I LOVE the 70's vibe that is currently all over the place, this suede skirt was so cute and such a steal that I couldn't resist. I also bought this retro looking jean skirt and plan on getting some fun bell bottoms (possibly these). If only I had held on to all my high school clothes! I had quite the flared denim/Abercrombie jean skirt collection back then.
I am alive! I swear. Mostly. I didn't mean to go radio silent on the blog this week but alas, it is what happened due to...life. I fully intended to photograph my outfit from the most glamorous wedding I have ever attended in my life but with the chaos of moving in the same weekend it just didn't happen (see how much blogging you can get done while moving with a full on wedding hangover - I double dare you). I looked great though, trust me. I actually re-wore a bridesmaid dress -- SAY WHAT? Yes. I may be the first in to ever actually make good on the ye olde proverb "you can totally wear it again." This one to be exact. It worked out well and saved me a few bucks. I highly suggest trying it out. The bride, decor, food, and entertainment were just perfection.
So to recap here - I've gotten engaged, wedding-ed, & moved all in one week so shiz was cray. I can't wait to show you some after photos when I have settled into my new place (which wont be for a while) but for now, here are some befores. I promise I will be back next week with some new posts!
