I wore this little maternity dress on Saturday to my very first trip to Buy Buy Baby. My husband wanted to "test drive" the strollers on our list before making a solid registry decision. It was surreal and a little scary to come to the realization that babies need like, ALL THE THINGS. Aside from that I have really been living in comfortable dresses (maternity and not) with a jacket over for both work and play. It's really become my go-to since I know it works in most situations. I know this method won't work for too much longer when it gets to be super hot but for now it's a time saver in the morning! That and the fact that I have fully cleaned out my closet to make a specific section for things I know will fit me in this moment. It's a small, small slice of the closet but knowing exactly where to each and pull from really saves me from what was becoming a daily anxiety dressing for work each morning. I know some women out there didn't have to do much extra shopping for their bumps, my own sister maybe purchased a total of two maternity dresses her whole pregnancy, but it's not the case for me. I have been out of most of my work/play wardrobe since week 15 so I have had to get creative/invest in mostly new pieces for work wear, weekend wear, underpinnings (my chest has gone up three sizes), and swim/vacation since I have two on the horizon. I like dresses like this because they can cross over from weekend to throwing on a blazer and pumps and being work friendly. Also feeling so, SO much better here in week 22! I think I have finally hit the Goldilocks phase of this thing.
