The deets: Target buckets, tags, & straws; Tied Up Loose Ends custom hair ties; Baby Lou Whoo Boutique custom tanks; Chocolove bars; Kenwood mini-champs; 1800 tequila chocolates; CTS sunnies.
Remember that champs-themed bachelorette I talked about on the blog? Along with the mimosa bar we made these cute mini champagne goody-buckets for all the girls that attended. I love how they came out, really quite perfect for the vibe we were trying to achieve. Also - I really dig how lettering on the tanks is glittery! I hadn't seen that in all my days of matching bachelorette tank wearing.
The deets: J.Crew dress (old, similar); Sam Edelman heels (also here and here); Rebecca Minkoff bag; Quay sunnies.
Remember when I wore this dress for Easter? Well I took to to my tailor and had a few inches cut off to make it into a "sexier" dress that actually is more usable. For whatever reason the lace plus the length made it seem a little formal, now I can rock it on the weekend feeling great. It also happens to be the dress that I chose for one of the best days of my life! I got engaged later on this day and could not be happier with my choice.
The deets: J.Crew hat; Old Navy cover-up (sold out but all swim gear is now 60% off); Quay sunnies; Star Mela bag (also sold out but LOVE this one and this one); VS swimsuit.
This post actually makes me super sad because I think it's my last beachy one of the summer (side note - there were pumpkins everywhere in Pier1 this weekend which makes me want rip my face off - cut it out, AUGUST). This was actually not my favorite cover-up as it wasn't quite as flattering in person as online but it still won me over enough to be worn due the cute poms. Obviously I was a sucker for pom poms as my tote also has them, so fun! I am so happy I purchased this hat in the beginning of spring because I got SO much use out of it! It went with almost every beach look this summer (also seen here, here, and here). Here is to fully enjoying all the summery goodness we have left.
The deets: J.Crew stripe shirt (similar) and skirt; Kate Spade mini bag & studs; Karen Walker sunnies; Aldo heels (similar, similar); Knox Thomas Designs bar necklace.
I haven't posted a work look on here in a while but believe me they still happen on the daily. I recently purchased this J.Crew skirt for a STEAL (like $13 or something crazy like that) and have been wearing it all the time because it pretty much goes with any summer work top.
Random side note that has nothing to do with this outfit - I made THE best chocolate chip cookies of my life today (I actually made way too many so my coworkers will be happy). You can see them and some silly, unglam life moments, cute animals, and more on my snapchat @erinhabes.
I recently helped throw a "Champagne" themed bachelorette party for the fancy pants of my group. Obviously you can't have a champs themed party without a mimosa bar involved. This is just one way to set one up if you need something cute and easy.
We ordered custom champs glasses that had her bachelorette hashtag and everyone's name etched on (which was fabulous for knowing which glass was yours when you set it down) as well as glittery ring pinked striped paper straws (because, cute). I already had this chalkboard from another shower (seen here) and target happened to have the cutest chalkboard banner so it all came together nicely even though everyone contributed something different.
We then just bought enough champs to drown an elephant, three different mixers & three different garnishes. You can really get creative here but we went with grapefruit, berry, and pineapple orange juices paired up with orange slices, strawberries, and pineapple. The result was so much adorableness. Cheers!
The deets: F21 hat (new fav last seen here and under $15!); Prada sunnies; old bikini (similar) T&C scarf (given as a bachelorette party favors here).
I am not normally someone who would show this much skin in a post but I'm being brave today. My favorite place in the world to be is at the beach, it honestly is like therapy for my soul. I don't know if it's because I grew up going to beach clubs as a kid (I am from the NJ shore) or just the way it smells and sounds but it's wonderful! Who doesn't love what salt water does to their hair too? I feel so refreshed after a dip in the ocean and you get mermaid locks on top of it! The best.
