I wore this outfit to celebrate a friends birthday at Marvin's this past weekend. I would definitely suggest hitting that place up the rooftop bar/deck is fabulous. I honestly am slightly obsessed with the brand JOA as all their pieces are super on trend, flirty, and unique but ALSO usually aren't priced out of this world like some similar styles. This tank is so versatile, I actually pair it with my black pencil skirt & simple pumps for the office too. The material is linen so it's pretty breathable which is crucial in the 90+ degree days we've been having, also the pretty blue and green palm print was just too cute to pass up.

I don't know why, but houndstooth print screams "class act" to me despite the bizarre moniker. I love a really bold pattern and this one is great because it's sophisticated enough to rock to the office since it's a classic and it matches everything else you own. Black and white make any other color look more vibrant and better dontcha think?

I helped throw a baby shower for one of my best friends last weekend. When I saw this perfect little baby boy blue, flowy, summery, striped set on Kendi, I knew it had to be mine in time to wear for the party. I immediately scoured the internet, found one in my size, and slapped a two day shipping on it. Love at first sight totally happens via outfits on people you don't know sometimes guys, and it's awesome. And I know I totally cut myself off from buying any more striped dresses but this one is a two piece so it technically doesn't count right? Right.
