Just a little FYI for all you ladies that are spending the next few days taking back whacky Christmas gifts and cashing in on gift cards - Shopbop is throwing an extra 25% off all sale items! Make sure you hit up this amazing sale during your post holiday shopping spree. I definitely have a few things left on my wishlist.

The deets: Express sweater and leggings (similar); Zara heels; Monserat De Lucca clutch; J.Crew tassel necklace; Baublebar earrings and bar necklace; Revlon "Certainly Red" lipstick.
Being back in NJ for the holiday for a whole week was seriously amazing. I honestly can't remember a time in over six years that I was able to spend more than four or five days with my family so it was a true treat. I got to catch up with old high school friends (this is the outfit I wore to meet them for drinks by the water), eat amazing Italian food, bake and decorate cookies from scratch with my sister, spend so much time with my family, give gifts, and the weather was this amazing cherry on top. Can you believe it was almost 60 degrees? Cray. You can see a few other moments from my trip home here.

Merry Christmas & happy "paw-lidays" from my fur clan to yours! I have said it once and I will say it again, I think I missed my calling as pet photographer. Each year my Christmas card gets better and better (see last year and the year before). I will be taking some time off next week to travel, be with my family, bake cookies, and do all those Christmas-y things that make me happy. I hope you get to do the same.

I know things can get a little repetitive and overwhelming with gift guides around this time of year for anyone who spends time reading blogs, and I definitely don't want to inundate you with another one, so this year I have opted to not do any! I mean, who am I to tell you what to buy for your loved ones, right? Right. I have, however, come up with a wishlist of my own which usually (selfishly) helps my friends, family, and boyfriend out as I have been told I am a hard person to shop due to my particular taste.
In general, when I am gifting others, I try to stay away from things that they'd probably need to try on first (shoes, bottoms, etc), which leaves me in a few fool proof safety zones: beauty, accessories, home decor, and cozy lounge wear. I really feel like no girl has ever said they have enough earrings, clutches, perfume, or fancy candles. We just love them, we always want more, it's in our DNA. These are some things that fall into those categories that I would be MORE than excited to see under the tree this year.
