See all the "Four Favorites" series here.
1. I got this little "do your best" coaster for my desk at work and it really does put a little positive energy into my brain when I catch a glimpse of it!
2. I have these earrings in the lighter color (last seen here and here) and they just came out in gorgeous deeper hues, thinking they would be such a fun gift! I love mine.
3. My bestie just started a photography company Truly Gil Photography! She is going to be snapping our Christmas photos this year and I know it's early but I have been brainstorming ideas on my Pinerest page (here) for us and there are SO many cute dogs in wreaths I'm thinking I need to do this with Alba!
4. It's my own personal tradition to treat myself to a new pajama set each time I go on a vacation and even though its the end of summer I couldn't resist this cute lemon print set for our upcoming trip to Charleston.

It's been a minute since my last "Four Favorites" series post but here are a few things that are currently my JAM.
1. I have been on a statement earring kick for about five years now and it doesn't seem to be something I am going to grow out of. These little beauties have been on my mind since they basically feel like the color-wheel I base my entire existence on.
2. My sis is pregnant (yay) and we are thinking a fall baby shower since she is due in December. I have been pinning cute "little pumpkin-esque" things for inspo here!
3. I moved offices recently and decided to jazz up my cube space. These little animal head push-pins and magnets were super adorable and super affordable. It's really the little things that being me joy during the work day.
4. Wunderlist is the app that is currently running my entire life. I make running grocery lists, work lists, cleaning schedules, reminders, I even note work outfits so I have something to refer to when I am in a hurry in the morning and don't know what to wear. It is the BEST.

1. The "Up and Vanished" podcast is the BEST. It's so juicy, there are so many characters, the suspense factor is through the roof. If you are a podcast person, get on it.
2. I have many pregnant friends at the moment but don't yet know what they are having. I just about died over these unicorn booties so I am ready to pounce once someone gives me the "pink" light.
3. I just loved the idea of a middle ground between a card and a small gift. Greetabl is the perfect step up. I love the designs and all the options to get to fill your box. They are so cute I sent one to my bestie going through chemo a couple weeks ago as a pick me up. This is not sponsored, I just love them.
4. Mini backpacks are my current JAM. I got this simple black Coach one that holds my DSLR camera perfectly. With my third weekend of travel in a row this week I can honestly say it was a great buy. I love being hands free in the airport or roaming the streets of a city.
See others from this series, even though the last one was six months ago, here.

1. I purchased these Quay beauties right before my Vegas trip and couldn't love them more. Cat eye, pink reflective, and under $60.
2. I know everyone is all all about the red and blue berry desserts (which are great, and I've done myself before) but what's more american than rice krispy treats? How cuuuute are these?!
3. How many "Summer Reading Lists" have you seen come out this week from bloggers and news outlets? UGH, I KNOW I HAVE TO READ The Girls, I get it! Enough! I'm actually more of an audio over visual kind of gal (I hate watching Jeopardy with my fiance because I can't answer until I hear Alex finish saying the question out loud and he can just read them ahead an answer - my brain doesn't work like that). I have a monthly subscription to Audible which is life changing, so I'm more into this Summer listen list.
4. One of my favorite beauty you-tubers always raves about this stuff so I tired it out and am in LOVE with the results - which you can see right now on my Snapchat!

1. I locked eyes with this iridescent tasseled unicorn of a clutch and resisted my every instinct to buy it because planning a wedding is expensive and leaves little room for unicorn clutches. Sad face. Welp, my birthday is this month and I totally forgot about BIRTHDAY COUPS! I went back and got her for 25% off to bring to Vegas on my bachelorette this weekend!
2. For all the Arlington readers (because there are like, soo many of you..) this super posh little nail salon called "Coatroom" (cheeky) just opened across from my building and I am very excited to try it out this week. They have copper details, luxe brands like Butter London and Deborah Lippmann, modern decor, and a sign outside that says "99 PROBLEMS BUT MY NAILS ARE DONE." Is that a Jay-Z reference, because YAAS!
3. So I am the loser that didn't know how to get cool those colors on my snapchat so I googled it. I can't be the only person out there that needs a tutorial, turns out it's really easy - this guide is helpful.
4. Very into the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. I have "Lovesick" and "Bachelorette" and they haven't disappointed yet! Great formulas.

Yes, I know it's been about 7 months since my last "Four Favorites" post but it's back! You can see the entire series here.
1. If you know me intamately (pun intended) then you know I am obsessed with wearing matching PJ sets to bed. I found this gem on the bridal section of ASOS and just LOVE 'em. Confetti anything wins.
2. I love podcasts, I listen to multiple ones a day on my daily metro commute, I especially love true crime because deep down inside if I could do it all again I would love to be a detective. I think I have a secret talent for spotting liars. Casefile gives me all the creeps and deets of real (sometimes still unsolved) crimes. Be prepared to be seriously freaked out. Fact is scarier than fiction!
3.This recipe stopped me in my tracks. Cookie dough and Oreo stuffed rice krispie treats topped with chocolate covered pretzels. Enough said.
4. I got these cute beaded tassel earrings to go with this dress and this dress (one for a bachelorette and one for a shower). Bonus: BaubleBar is having Buy 1, get 20% off with code STOCKUP20. Buy 2, get 25% off with code STOCKUP25. Buy 3+, get 30% off with code STOCKUP30.

1. This @brosbeingbasic instagram account of men poking fun at typical girl grams is hilarious and spot on!
2. I went and purchased the Kylie Jenner staples - MAC lip liner in "Soar" and lipstick in "Brave" and seriously they made my lips look way bigger!
3. I am in love with these black lace up flats, but the price tag is a leeeettle to high so I may have to settle for these.
4. I am a sucker for all things cake batter so when I saw this full on cake batter PIE I was all like.. Yes, PLEASE.

1. I know Summer is technically ending but how yummy does this spicy fruit salad look?
2. I just finished Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. I have been a big fan of his since Parks and Rec
aired and although I am not single, I found his insights on dating and love in the text-centric, swipe left, social media age to be super informative, interesting, and really funny.
3. How stinking cute is this hilarious couple's take on how they met in a "drunk history" parody?!
4. The Disney child in me is in love with the idea of these princess lipsticks based on my favorite leading ladies growing up.

1. How refreshing does this yummy coconut-lime-watermelon SLUSHIE look? I maaaaaybe would throw some tequila in there too, but that's just me.
2. I am actually jealous of this two year old's kitty themed birthday party. I may need to steal it for myself. #catladylife
3. I concocted a wonderful chocolate-cheesecake frosting a month back but never shared the recipe. I was recently reminded of it's deliciousness by a coworker and figured I should put it up since it's so easy. Make regular cream cheese icing, my tried and true is here. Then make ganache. Fold in about 3/4 cup of the chocolate ganache into the cream cheese icing. BAM.
4. Shopbop is currently giving an extra 25% off their designer sale with code 25EXTRA. You can score this pink Marchesa Notte for under $200 right now. Insane.

1. I got this adorable little pouch as a bday gift and took it with me on my PR trip last week. It surprisingly fit ALL of my travel size toiletries inside, so it's cute AND super usable! All the Dogeard stuff is pretty on point right now.
2. Loving these crazy Prada sunnies, I just picked them up last weekend.
3. I have lots of friends in nesting mode as recent home-buyers, newlyweds, etc. I love this idea of getting a interior decorator on the cheap!
4. If you are into pampering yourself, you HAVE to go try the watermelon-basiltini pedicure at your local Red Door Spa. It's magical and fragrant and my feet feel brand new after the sandy beating they took in Puerto Rico!

1. A dear friend wrapped my birthday present in this adorable wrapping paper and it really made my day! I'm such a cat lady and proud of it at this point. They know they way to my heart.
2. I have been AGONIZING over finding the perfect pair of tortoise sunnies and am not sure if I have found them (send help) but ended up ordering these because they seemed like a cute enough option for me until I can make an investment in a nicer pair.
3. I really related to this article. I also have not owned a full length mirror (or had one in my apt) for two years now.
4. This video of baby goats frolicking about in their little jammies is just EVERYTHING! I will watch it a million times. It fills me with joy and all the feels. #dead.

Yes, I know it's been a while since I've done a "Four Favorites" post, but I'm bringing it back. Hopefully somewhat regularly. Here we go!
1. When I saw this cutie cute cute necklace on BaubleBar for pre-order I had to jump at the chance! It hasn't shipped yet but I can't wait to get my hands on this tassely, pink, fun little thing.
2. Shopbop has a crazy array of flamingo themed iphone cases. This print is one of my favorites!
3. As a chesty girl who has a HARD time finding swimsuits that fit, ASOS be killin' it. SO many DD+ selections for affordable prices!
4. I received this Hampton Sun SPF 35 as a gift from the Red Door Spa, but really really loved it so much I went out and ordered the travel size versions for my upcoming trip to PR. I am not kidding it's hands down the best SPF experience ever. Smells heavenly, easy application, and oil free..check, check, check!

1. As you know, I have already converted to Washio for my laundry which is the most amazing app in the world. I now also use Instacart to have my groceries delivered! While I do have a Harris Teeter close it's nice to be able to have Whole Foods products I love delivered right to my door. I am a true city girl now.
2. I am on a health kick. I got a trainer so I obviously needed new kicks to go with. Right?
3. How genius is this makeup brush drying rack? I always use a little J&J baby shampoo to wash mine and have to figure out weird ways to get them vertical for drying. This is a game changer!
4. Invisibilia is my new favorite podcast. It explores the intangible forces that shape human behavior – things like ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions. I always feel smarter after listening.

1. How cute are these Kate Spade "Dear Valentine" studs? They come in pink too! I am a sucker for anything heart shaped.
2. Really like this article on updating your makeup bag on any budget. There were some things on each of the four budget lists that I really want to try out now.
3. About that heart shaped sucker thing I spoke of, this is such an easy and adorable way to bring a semi-homemade v-day theme to those boxed brownies (or from scratch for you over-achievers out there).
4. This ap has changed my city girl life. Gone are the days of waiting in the awkward cigarette customer service line for quarters, which they will only ration out in 10 dollar amounts per trip, walking down to the creepy basement area of my apartment building, and then going up and down the stairs twelve times because I am horrible at correctly timing my wash cycles. Thank you laundry gods for brining Washio into my life. It's like Uber for your dirty laundry! Also you can get $10 off with code: haberman75190mv55.

1. Mini-bags are having a very big moment and I am INTO IT. I think I have an affinity for all mini things, really (minus paychecks and diamonds - AM I RIGHT?). Mini cupcakes, mini animals (kittens), mini humans (babies) - all good things. I recently snagged a cute red one (last seen here) but have been thinking about getting a pastel version.
2. I have been day-dreaming about a real vacation recently. I haven't had one in so long that wasn't wedding, holiday, or bachelorette related and it would be so nice to fly away somewhere with the boyfriend for a long weekend and forget about life for a bit. These magical places are now at the top of my list.
3. How cute are these donut themed thank you's? I love a DIY that is easy and delicious.
4. Ear wings. EAR WINGS! 'Nuff said.

2. A cute little "For Your Mistletoes" pedicure in a jar idea that would make the best little gift for the girls in your life!
3. I feel like I need an ear crawler. This one is affordable and would be the perfect touch of holiday glam.
4. 100 years of beauty in one minute! So fun to see. I think the 50's-70's are my favorites.

..Four Favorites: Creative Index Print Shop
November 12, 2014 • Creative Index Four Favorites gift guide print shop
So remember how my blog layout went from zero to fabulous last year? Well it's all because of the very talented graphic designer I went with, Jessica, of Creative Index. Not only is she so good at beautifying your webspace (check out this gorgeous one she recently did for a fellow DC area blogger, Ally Cog), she's also the sweetest person ever and recently opened up an online shop where you can buy her gorgeous goodies! Above are four of my favorite things you can find at the Creative Index Print Shop, the animal lover in me just could't resist that kitty nose mug. Hello Christmas ideas.

1. How cute and festive is this Halloween candy cake?
2. I have been searching for some basic brown suede booties and I think these are the winners.
3. This NARS brow brush is THE BOMB. I got it a couple months ago and love it more and more every day. The hairs are tougher and harder than a normal brow brush so it combs them as you fill them in. Genius.
4. I seriously LOVE the cookie butter from Trader Joe's. When they came out with the cookie butter + chocolate swirl version I was like YES. Now you are telling me I can make it myself out of ANY cookie? Trouble.

..Four Favorites: Fall Sweets
October 16, 2014 • apple pie baking Cupcakes fall Four Favorites sweets
I figured it's officially the season of pumpkin spice, (seriously they should change the name from "Autumn" to "PUMPKIN EXPLOSION IN YOUR FACE"), so why not share four of my favorite fall recipes that I can attest are delicious and feasible.
1. Apple Pie Crumble, WHAT! So good. Turned this non apple pie-loving girl into a true American.
2. Three Ingredient Pumpkin Chip Cookies. So easy your girlfriend that uses her oven for sweater storage could do it (how I miss SATC, sigh).
3. Pumpkin Chip Bundt Cake. Be an office hero and make this cake. It's one of those weird things (like really, a bundt?) that actually tastes like heaven.
4. Fall Foliage Cupcakes. AKA pumpkin cinnamon cream cheese cupcakes, but still, yum.
